Please note the bakery will be closed for a refit during w/c 8th March so the bakery shop will be closed on 8th, 11th, 12th and 13th March.
Alongside farmers’ markets, stockists and subscriptions, you can also buy directly from us at our in house bakery shop.
We are currently open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10.00am to 2.00pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm only. We are not currently accepting cash. You will be asked to queue outside the bakery in line with social distancing. Please do not attempt to enter the bakery until invited to do so by a member of staff. We can only allow one customer (or household) in the bakery as any one time and face masks must be worn at all times inside the bakery. Hand sanitiser is provided outside the front door for customers to use before opening the door.
Please note that preference may be given to serving Click & Collect customers so we can adhere to their collection time slots. Please do not visit the bakery if you or anyone in your household is showing any symptoms of Covid-19.
At our bakery shop you’ll find a limited selection of loaves including our White Sourdough, Malthouse Sourdough , Seeded Sourdough, Vollkornbrot, and Yorkshire Wholemeal Sourdough. We also have a selection of sweet things available including vegan cardamom knots. On Saturdays we also offer a range of exclusive freshly baked pastries, plus slabs of our delicious rosemary and sea salt focaccia!
We are currently unable to reserve items over the phone, so if you would prefer to guarantee you will get your favourite loaf we recommend that you place your order online using our Click & Collect service. We’re just off Meanwood Road, in between Buslingthorpe Road and Sackville Street.
Public Transport:
Our closest bus stop is Buslingthorpe Green, which is on the 781 bus line. The 51 and 52 both also stop nearby on Meanwood Road.
Parking:
Parking is available opposite the bakery and throughout the Industrial Estate.
Please do not park on the bakery forecourt as we require access for our bakery vans and please be mindful not to block the entrances to our neighbouring businesses.
Accessibility:
There are no dedicated disabled parking spaces on the Penraevon Estate but please feel free to park directly in from of the bakery on the forecourt, if space is available.
If you are unable to park on the forecourt, there is dropped kerb access on the pavement to the front of the bakery.
The doorway to the bakery has one small step that measure approximately 3cm on the threshold.
If you need completely step-free access or if if additional space is required we are, however, more than happy to open our large shutter.
The bakery is illuminated using strip lighting.
Please also note the bakery is a peanut-free site. We are also glass and ceramic-free for health and safety reason.
