The types of loaves available for our subscription service are the following;
White Sourdough (700g) (V) (Ve)
Wheat and rye, a classic sourdough with a very mild creamy tang. Versatile. The long loaf with a
cut down the middle.
Ingredients
Wheat*, a small amount of rye*, salt.
Malthouse Sourdough (760g) (V) (Ve)
A delicious blend of three malts with wholemeal and white wheat flour. Crusty but with a soft, open,
chewy crumb, with malted wheat flakes, malted barley, and the dark malted rye for texture and
flavour. A long loaf with diagonal cuts.
Ingredients
Malthouse flour (wheat*, barley*, rye*), salt.
Seedy Sourdough (675g) (V) (Ve) (S)
Made with soaked linseed, toasted sesame and toasted sunflower seeds. The seeds keep the loaf
moist and tasty. Round loaf with a square cut into it.
Ingredients
Wheat*, a small amount of rye*, linseed, sesame seed, sunflower seed, salt.
Yorkshire Wholemeal Sourdough (720g) (V) (Ve)
Our take on wholemeal contains 90% wholemeal wheat flour from Yorkshire Organic Millers with
10% white wheat flour, a hearty loaf with a wholesome, dark crumb. Generally long with some sort
of cut (dependent on the whim of the baker).
Ingredients
Wheat*, sea salt. (May contain trace amounts of mustard.)
Vollkornbrot Rye (745g)(V) (Ve) (WF)
A German-style sourdough made with wholemeal rye flour, cracked rye grain, a rye starter and
sunflower seeds. Keeps well and improves as it ages. Slice thin and have with goats cheese,
meats, pickles. Makes great toast. A tin loaf that looks like a brick.
Ingredients
Rye*, sunflower seeds, salt.
We offer two kinds of bread subscription, a continuous subscription or a 4 week subscription.
A continuous subscription works by setting up a standing order to us, via your bank account. (If you select this option; please make sure that you set your order for every 4 weeks rather than every month, as our subscriptions run on a weekly order basis) With this option, we will continue to send your bread every week, until you cancel your standing order.
A 4 week subscription is set up via bank transfer to our account, and needs to be paid into account the week before you’d like your 4 weeks of bread to begin.
For a continuous subscription of 1 loaf a week, please pay by standing order, it’s £16.00 every 4 weeks.
For a continuous subscription of 2 loaves a week, please pay by standing order, it’s £32.00 every 4 weeks.
For a continuous subscription of 3 loaves a week, please pay by standing order, it’s £48.00 every 4 weeks.
For a continuous subscription of 4 loaves a week, please pay by standing order, it’s £64.00 every 4 weeks.
For a 4 week subscription of 1 loaf a week, please make a bank transfer to our account for £16.00 for 4 weeks of bread.
