A large French peasant loaf weighing just under 2kg, from a time when loaves were large and baking was done in communal ovens. Wholemeal wheat, white wheat, and rye give this sourdough a full rounded flavour. The long slices which can be taken from this bread are perfect for open sandwiches. A great loaf for caterers and anyone planning an event.
