What is Group Delivery?
Group delivery is essentially multiple individual orders being delivered to one local address in your community, for you to distribute in a way that works best for your group.
There is no minimum value for each individual order (as long as the group order totals £15 or more) so it allows your neighbour/friend who only buys one loaf a week the same access to free delivery as your neighbour/friend who buys several.
It also provides the opportunity for your community to support neighbours/ friends who might be unable to get out of their house right now, by receiving and dropping off their order for them too.
It is a great way for neighbours, friends or family to come together and have their favourite Leeds Bread Co-op products delivered free of charge. Community support and co-operation at its finest!
How does group delivery work?
Once you have registered a group, each member of the group will be able to place their order and pay for it individually on our website. The group co- ordinator will be provided with the group’s delivery day and a coupon code to distribute to all the members of the group. It is imperative that this coupon code is used by each individual member of the group when placing their order, otherwise the order will not qualify for free delivery and will not be considered part of the group order.
Each individual order will be packed and labelled separately and delivered to the nominated address for the group. The group co-ordinator is then responsible for the distribution of the orders to each member of the group.
If the whole group order is below £15 in total we will ask you, via the group co- ordinator, to pay the £2.50 delivery charge otherwise we will be unable to deliver your order. Individual orders that do not use the group coupon code, the correct group delivery address or the correct delivery date (based on your group delivery address postcode), or that are placed after the cutoff will not be processed as part of the group delivery.
How to register your group
Once you have nominated your group co-ordinator, who will act as the main contact with us and receive the group delivery, they will need to complete the registration form below. You will be asked for the name of your group, the name of the group co-ordinator, their email address and contact phone number, and their address for receiving the deliveries.
The group co-ordinator will be responsible for the distribution of the individual orders once the group delivery has been received. We will not be able to deal with any issues around collection or delivery from the nominated group delivery address. We would also request that any issues that arise regarding the group delivery are communicated to us via the group co-ordinator only.

How do I place my order?
Visit our online shop at leedsbread.coop/shop/. You will need to choose the Click & Collect product that corresponds with the day of the week we deliver to your group. Then add your chosen products to your cart!
Once you have added all the products you would like to order, view your cart and add your group coupon – this will identify your order as part of your group order and ensure you donʼt get charged for delivery at checkout!
Proceed to checkout and be sure to add the nominated delivery address to the ‘Deliver to a different address?ʼ section*. In the ‘Collection & Delivery Optionsʼ section please choose ‘Free Local Delivery (over £15)ʼ.
Once you have paid for and completed your order you will receive a confirmation email.
Your order will be delivered to the nominated group address on the allocated day later that week, and will be available to collect/distributed by your group co-ordinator as agreed by your group!
Please note that we cannot guarantee when products will sell out so would advise group members ordering at their earliest convenience. Orders open each Saturday afternoon around 2.30pm for the following week.
* If you have an account on our website you will be able to save the nominated delivery address in your account and it will auto-populate when you check the ‘Deliver to a different address?ʼ section.
