Payment and Taxes
We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit or debit card using Stripe, you can view their privacy policy here. All transactions are shown in £ sterling. We do not store any
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate.
A contract between the customer and Leeds Bread Co-op for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, at which point the buyers credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods dispatched. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
If we are unable to successfully process your credit card for your order, then we may notify you and cancel your order.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.
Promotional Codes
We may offer promotional discount codes which may apply to certain purchases made through the website. Promotional codes are valid for a specific time period and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional codes unless otherwise specified. If you use a promotional code to purchase a product and you later alter or cancel your order, you will only be refunded the amount you paid.Any further conditions of using the promotional codes will be specified at the time. Promotional codes have a limit of one use per customer and can only be redeemed online during the dates specified.
Subscriptions
By purchasing a subscription you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation.
To pause or cancel your subscription at any time, you must update your user account on the site or email us. Please note that all changes to your subscription, including spending or cancelling your subscription must be done by 4pm Friday of the week before you wish for the change to take effect. If you do not provide sufficient notice you will be charged for your order.
Cancelling or Altering An Order
Due to all orders being made to order and production times for our products, if you would like to cancel or alter your order we will need to know by 4pm at least three days before your order is due to be collected. If you need to cancel or alter your order please call us on 0113 2625155 or email us on orders@leedsbread.coop, you will need to provide your name, order reference and the date of your order.
We may cancel any order, or part of an order (including any order that we have accepted) without any liability to you for that cancellation at any time if the requested products are not available; there is an error in the price or the product description on the website in relation to a product in your order; or that order has been placed in breach of these terms and conditions. Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased.
Click And Collect
During the Covid-19 pandemic we are implementing a click & collect service to reduce the risk of infection for staff and customers. If you would like to cancel or alter your order we will need to know by 2pm at least one business day before your order is due to be collected. If you need to cancel or alter your order please call us on 0113 2625155 or email us on orders@leedsbread.coop you will need to provide your name, order reference and the date of your order.
You must not come to the bakery to collect your order if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. We are happy for you to send someone else to collect your order, at your own risk, as long as they are able to confirm your name and order details.
You only collect your order within the time slot you chose at checkout only. In exceptional circumstances you may call the bakery to request a different time slot which will be provided to you if available.
Customers with click and collect orders already placed are given priority to collect before those without an order to pick up, to ensure that the flow of customers is maintained steadily.
You will be asked to queue outside the bakery in line with social distancing and your order will be passed to you by a member of staff.
We reserve the right to refuse service if you do not comply with these procedures or any requests made by members of staff at the bakery.
Returns/Refund Policy
We are only able to refund you if sufficient notice is provided to cancel your order prior to it going into production, please see above for cancelling an order.
We are unable to refund you if you fail to collect your bread and have not provided sufficient notice to cancel your order prior to it going into production. You are welcome to collect it the following day, give us a call on 0113 2625155 to let us know, but please note we cannot accept any responsibility for any deterioration to the products in these circumstances.
We do hope you are happy with your purchase, however, if upon collection of the products from the bakery you find that they are not those ordered by you, or the order is incomplete, or a product is in a damaged condition when you receive it please notify us immediately in the bakery. If a product is not as on the Order Confirmation or damaged we will refund your purchase. We will have no liability to you for any indirect loss. It is your responsibility to check and confirm your order is complete, correct and undamaged at the time of collection.
We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused to products after they are collected, for example if they are damaged during transit to your home.
We will only make a refund to the original credit card or debit card account used by you to make the online purchase. Legal ownership of the goods will immediately revert to us if we refund any such payment to you.
Since taste is a very personal matter and subjective we cannot accept the return of any Products merely because you do not like the taste.
We will not accept the return of any products which have been purchased for any other outlet this the website.

Conformity of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However any description is for illustrative purposes and there may be small discrepancies in colour or size.
In the case of goods made to your special requirements, it is your responsibility to ensure the information you provide is accurate.
Your Use of the Website
You must provide us with true and accurate information, for example your name, email, telephone number, and other requested information.
It is your responsibility to create a password for your account and that you do not disclose your password to anyone else or keep it in an insecure place.
You may not use contact information provided on the website for unauthorised purposes, including marketing. You may not use any hardware or software intended to damage or interfere with the proper working of the website or to surreptitiously intercept ny system, data or personal information from the website. You have permission to electronically copy and print hard copies of pages from the website solely for personal, non-commercial purposes related to placing an order or shopping within the website.
Termination
Leeds Bread Co-op may suspend or terminate your account and your right to use the services made available through the website in the event that it determines or has reasonable grounds to suspect that you are in violation of the site terms.
Notwithstanding any of these site terms that may suggest otherwise, Leeds Bread Co-op reserves the right, without notice and at it’s sole discretion, to terminate your right to use this website for any reason at all, and to block or prevent future access to and use of the website by you. In the event your right to use this website is terminated, these site terms still apply.
Disclaimer & Limitations of Liability
While Leeds Bread Co-op uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date, it does not give any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and Leeds Bread Co-op will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.
