We know, we haven’t been great at keeping up with our letters from lockdown, especially since lockdown actually finished and we gradually return to baking.

Here in Leeds, full lockdown has gradually morphed into a local lockdown, bringing with it a whole new set of trials and tribulations to many local small independent businesses like ourselves, so we thought it was about time for a catch up!

Thank you to our dear and valued customers and community for the incredible support you have shown us as we attempt to reopen. For this week’s letter from lockdown we welcome back Keren, and start to consider how, as an organisation, we hold ourselves accountable and work together to be a better ally to Black people.

It’s Monday again so that must mean its time for another letter from lockdown. And this week we are delighted to welcome Nat who works in the bakery office helping to keep everything running smoothly.
